Terms & Conditions for Bubbly Journeys
1. Booking & Payment Terms
1.1. An initial non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking in order to secure participation in the journey.
1.2. The remaining balance will be divided into equal monthly payments, with all payments due and completed no later than 30 days prior to the start date of the journey.
1.3. Failure to submit payments on time may result in forfeiture of the reservation without refund of previously paid amounts.
2. Price & Exclusions
2.1. The published journey price excludes the following:
Airfare
Hotel accommodations before or after the scheduled journey
Additional gratuities, porter/Bellman tips, or staff tips not otherwise specified
Additional activities or excursions outside the scheduled itinerary
Personal purchases, souvenirs, or incidentals
Additional food, beverages, or wine outside those explicitly included
2.2. In the unlikely event that the Euro-to-U.S. Dollar exchange rate exceeds 1.8 at the time of the tour, the organizer reserves the right to apply a price adjustment not to exceed 2% of the total trip cost.
3. Travel Requirements
3.1. All attendees are responsible for ensuring they possess a valid passport with at least six (6) months of validity beyond the scheduled return date.
3.2. Attendees are responsible for verifying, obtaining, and complying with all airline travel requirements and restrictions, including any individual carrier policies.
3.3. Attendees must obtain and maintain any health or travel documentation required for international travel, including vaccination records, testing requirements, visas, or other documentation as required by airlines or destination authorities.
4. Travel Insurance
4.1. It is strongly recommended that attendees purchase third-party travel insurance to protect against unexpected circumstances that may prevent or interrupt participation, including illness, flight cancellations, personal emergencies, or other unforeseen events.
5. Dietary Restrictions
5.1. Attendees with dietary restrictions must notify Aaron in advance of the journey.
5.2. While all reasonable efforts will be made, restaurants and partners cannot guarantee that all dietary requests can be accommodated. Availability of alternative options may vary.
6. Itinerary Flexibility
6.1. Attendees are welcome to opt out of scheduled activities at any time to rest, explore independently, or make personal plans.
6.2. Any individual activities or expenses incurred outside the scheduled itinerary are not included in the cost of the trip.
6.3. No refunds or credits will be provided for any scheduled activities missed or unused by the attendee.
Cancellation Policy
Attendee Cancellations
The initial deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Payments made after the deposit may be refundable or transferable only if the organizer chooses to do so at their discretion; however, no refunds are guaranteed once payments have been submitted.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the journey start date are 100% non-refundable.
Organizer Cancellations
In the rare event the organizer must cancel the journey, attendees will receive a refund of all payments made, excluding any personal travel expenses (such as airfare or insurance) obtained independently by the attendee.
The organizer is not responsible for additional costs incurred due to cancellations, delays, acts of nature, or unforeseen travel disruptions.
Social Contract of Behavior
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all participants, the following conduct is expected throughout the journey:
1. Respect & Consideration
Attendees agree to treat fellow travelers, hosts, staff, and local communities with courtesy, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. Group Harmony
Attendees understand that traveling as a group requires cooperation and punctuality. Late arrivals, disregard for instructions, or behaviors that negatively impact the group experience may result in removal from certain activities or, in severe cases, removal from the trip at the attendee’s expense.
3. Alcohol & Substance Use
Moderate and responsible consumption of alcohol is expected. Excessive drinking or unsafe behavior resulting from alcohol or substance use may lead to exclusion from activities or dismissal from the journey.
4. Safety & Compliance
Attendees agree to follow all safety guidelines, instructions from guides and staff, and local laws. Unsafe actions or refusal to follow instructions may result in removal from activities or the trip without refund.
5. Personal Responsibility
Each attendee is responsible for their personal belongings, conduct, and adherence to the Terms & Conditions. The organizer is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal items.
Acceptance of Terms
By submitting the deposit and completing the booking process, the attendee acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions, Cancellation Policies, and the Social Contract of Behavior outlined above.S
